| I hate these 'About Me' sections. You can never get a true snapshot of who someone is, from a few quick paragraphs. Either way, all these websites ask for them, so I'll give it another go. The 'Bios' I had before were dreadfully out of date anyway. I have, for most of my teen and adult life, described myself as the poster child for the arts. I still stick to that assessment as pretty fair. In a quick list; I love to sing, dance, act, read, draw, paint, write (both fiction and journaling), cook. I'm pagan, not to be confused with Wiccan. I like nature, but I'm a bit of a self proclaimed city girl. I am most definitely a snob and a purist. I am unashamed to admit that fact, and will defend myself to a fault if my right to be a purist/snob comes under attack. I am an animal lover and a huge Pet's Right's advocate. Just because they're furry and speak no human tongue, does not mean they don't have a soul, feelings and rights. I've often described myself as an extroverted introvert. Yeah, just try and figure that one out, lol! What I mean by this is, I do honestly love being around people. I love to talk to my friends on the phone and IM. I love to have parties and spend a lot of time with my friends but I also like to be alone. Also, until I've gotten to know you, I can be pretty quiet. If you see me silent, at a party where I won't know a lot of people, don't assume I'm being aloof. I'm just shy. I've recently started a new job. I'll be working in a familiar department, but a completely new field. I'm very excited about this, and contemplating a career change because of it. Never fear, those that know me, I'm still a musician/vocalist and a theatre chick to boot. You can take the girl out of the musical, but you can't take the musical out of the girl. Speaking of which, I am brought to my next point. I love theatre, particularly musical theatre. I DO NOT LIKE RAP, HIP HOP, PUNK, MOST ROCK AND POP! Do not try to change my mind on this subject. I have already stated, I am a snob and I'm going to stay that way. Got it? I love Ren Faire and Reenactment. I'm a part of the Pirate crew, Skullduggery. I will forever and always be a wench! Contrary to popular belief, 'wench' is not a bad word. It just means 'Young girl with employment' and it's a derivative of 'wenchel' which is an endearment for a girl child. I'm a stickler for historical accuracy, but I also love historical fantasy and the costumes that go along with it. I would like to think of myself as generous, kind, loving, honesty, trustworthy, interesting, intelligent and courageous. I also like to think of myself as a good friend. Respect me, don't lie to me, appreciate me and I will be loyal to a fault. I would give you, not only the shirt off my back but the shoes off my feet and my last dime to help you out. I am not, however, a push-over. I won't put up with self-pitying, nor will I tolerate being stepped on or used. So, is this enough yet? Maybe for those who are uninterested. If you want to know anymore you're going to have to ask me yourself. So, if you got through all of this, and haven't run away screaming, please message me.
